Ultrathera Gyrostim
Genesis was hired to help an entrepreneur create a prototype medical therapy machine designed to stimulate the vestibular system in a patient. Initially, this was a very low budget project, being built largely in the inventor's garage.
Web Handling System
Genesis was hired to create a controls system for a web line being built by a third party. Partway through the process, the third party was dismissed from the project and Genesis' involvement was expanded to redesign the complete production line.
Small Parts Inspection & Assembly Work Cell
Genesis was hired to create an assembly station that would assemble and simultaneously inspect a small plastic gearbox. The final machine uses a series of vision cameras to determine part orientation and location, which are then picked by a robot and placed on a stand for assembly.
Ceramic Handling & Inspection Machine
Genesis was hired to create a handling system to present parts to an off-the-shelf line scan topology camera system. The parts to be handled are sheets of precision ceramic substrate, ranging widely in both size and thickness.
