About Us

Genesis was founded in March of 2002 by Dan Councilman, an industry veteran with decades of experience in the custom automation field. His goal in founding the company was to provide solutions to the problems that off-the-shelf equipment could not solve.

Rather than focusing on a specific industry, such as aerospace or small parts handling, the company was structured to fill in the gaps where purchased equipment simply could not meet a manufacturer's needs, regardless of the specific industry. We are dedicated to bringing integrity and cost-effectiveness to the custom automation business.

Over our 17 years of business, we've learned a lot and improved our craft. The technology we work with has improved as well, with controls, robotics, CAD solutions, and much more becoming significantly more advanced.

Our focus on custom solutions has helped us avoid any complacency – we're constantly searching for new solutions to problems that haven't been solved yet, so we're always improving our knowledge and understanding of both design, and of what technology is currently available. This repeated process ensures that your machine will be state-of-the-art, using the latest and greatest technology when it matters, and using the tried-and-true where that makes more sense.
